Lifecycle Acquisitions Training


The Federal Aviation Administration uses a unique, life cycle Acquisition Management System for effectively managing approximately $2.5 billion annually for products and services. The Federal Leadership Institute is the only resource for training in this complex and unique policy. This acquisitions training is available to FAA employees, support contractors and the Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Agency.

Introduction to the Acquisition Management System
This 3-day course is designed to give the FAA newcomer an overview of the organization, a brief history of the agency and a broad overview of the acquisition management system.

Fundamentals of Acquisition Management
This 7 day class goes into greater depth and detail of the FAA's unique Acquisition Management Policy and incorporates a stunning variety of subject matter experts as guest speakers.
